Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
A breast lift, or breast mastopexy, is a surgical procedure to raise and reshape the breasts to make them more appealing. This procedure raises sagging breasts by modifying the size, contour, and elevation of the breasts.
Do you need breast lift Surgery?
Whether you are a young mother looking to regain your original shape and firmness after pregnancy or a teenager with sagging breasts or you are combating natural changes in breasts that come from age, heredity and weight fluctuations or even a cancer survivor wanting to optimize your breast reconstruction results, a breast lift could be just what you may need.
Psychologically, a mastopexy procedure to correct breast ptosis is not indicated by medical cause or physical reason, but by the self-image of the woman, which is a combination of physical, aesthetic, and mental health requirements of her own self.
Usually a breast lift surgery involves two precise incisions. The first will be around the areola and the second under the nipple. Excess skin, left from aging or sagging of the breast is then removed along these incisions.
The surgeon then defines a new location for the nipples and after excess skin is removed, the nipple and areola will be placed in a new position and the breast will be reshaped about them.

Every patient’s need and expectation is different. Your surgeon will tell which surgical technique would be most appropriate for your needs and explain the treatment plan in detail. During this initial consultation you are expected to:

Ideally, you may want to make arrangements for someone to help you for a day or two while you heal.
We will ensure that you remain comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Usually we use general anesthesia enabling you to sleep throughout the procedure.
